SNAGVAULT / THE DETAILS

Offer Standards & Corrections

Clear offers. Visible conditions. Room for corrections.

These are the publication standards for SnagVault’s new offer listings. We use them to explain where an offer comes from, what was checked and what shoppers still need to confirm.

Source and checking date

Before publishing an offer, we require an identifiable retailer or authorised source, a source link, the date checked and the relevant shopping country or region. We record the available conditions, including eligibility, exclusions and minimum spend where supplied. An unsupported discount claim is not ready to publish.

What a check means

Source checked: the promotion appeared on the recorded retailer or authorised source when reviewed. This is not a claim that we applied the code at checkout.

Checkout tested: the code was applied under the conditions and on the date described. This label requires a recorded test. It does not guarantee that the offer will work for another shopper or at a later date.

We do not add either label unless the corresponding check has been completed. The retailer’s current conditions and final checkout price remain the deciding information.

Expiry and eligibility

We require either a supplied expiry date or the explicit wording “Expiry not provided”. A missing expiry date does not mean an offer is permanent. Where an expiry time or timezone is supplied, we include it. We do not invent deadlines or imply that every shopper qualifies.

Commercial relationships

Where an offer uses an affiliate link, we identify the commission relationship close to the link. Separately paid placements must be labelled as advertising or sponsored content. A retailer listing alone does not claim an approved partnership. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Honest presentation

We do not present demonstration figures as real redemptions, reviews or savings. A click is not proof of a purchase or a successful discount. We do not promise to cover every retailer or to find the lowest price available.

Corrections and expired offers

When a reported problem or a new check raises doubt about an offer, we review its source and conditions. We correct, withdraw or mark the listing expired as appropriate. Offers remain subject to change between checks.

Report an offer with its page link and a brief explanation. Do not include payment details or account credentials.
